Don't understand your question about the plug ports?
I usually put a dab of anitsieze on the plug threads for the giggles and peace of mind and that's it.
I kinda of wish mine was under '96, my sniff test is due in 2 months and just had one hell of a exhaust extravaganza last week that I'm still not quite done with, but at least it's up. At least now all they do is a OBD plug-n-play.
