I know you have to use what you got with you to pull one out but those type of tie downs and straps with the metal hook on the end are very dangerous. i have seen them go through windows and body parts and there are some stories on actual death by gettin hit by one. Everyone should have at least one good tow strap. Buy way cool seeing an xj pulling out a ford.
