should i go with wider 15x10 for 33x12.5 for that look or is it just the backspacing effect ? Most have 15x8 soft 8 or d-windows with 3.75bs aka 3-5/8"
I'm confused, the 3.50bs sticks out more than 3.75 ?
My stock 15x7 is 5.25bs, looks like 31x10.50 tire sits too close to the coils and leafs, therefore wheel spacers recommended but those cost same a new d-windows 15x8.
anyone have comments about my confusion to fit 33x12.5 Kumhos with RC 3" lift with 2" coil spacers & 2" adj shackle boost = 5" lift
15x8 vs 15x10
3.75 vs 3.25 backspace

I've ran 10" wheels on 12.5" wide tires in the past and I sold them for some 8" wide wheels. Also if you wheel you can air down further
I saw some nice 33 or 35 x12.5 M/T's and others on tirerack with $100 rebate
Set of flatblack Rockcrawlers 15x8 with 3.75bs $65ea
Not sure how to get to your lift on the cheap with a 2001 Sport RWD 4x2. Only have the rear drive so the driveshaft sye vs transfer drop kit questions are diff, it would have a Dana 30 of course, the ring & pinion upgrade to 4.56 or 4.88 would help with MPG.
Front RC 5.5" coils $150
Rear RC 4" full leaf with 2" shackles $250
6.5" set of 4 shocks N2.2 $210
Adj control arms
sway disconnects
should be 5.5" front with one coil, 6.0 rear with shackles

Some 15x8 3.75BS D windows are about $50e (Any vendors have a Sale or Group Buy) still shopping for a deal, some don't come with caps which are about about $30-40 set. Sim bead Streetlocks are $400 shipped with cap which is entry level alloy for $90ea.
Not sure about gloss vs matte black option steelie.
wider 10" would prob tramline bad in the highway grooves on 33x12.5x15
ProComp D 15x8 $59ea shipped Amazon
Unique Street Locks $85ea no caps

Stick with 15x8 and 3.75" b/s your hubs will happy with you not to mention the wheels Are lighter, and they won't grab ruts in the road.

I was looking into maybe getting the rustys 3 inch lift and maybe a spacer for the coils to make 3.5? and if i do get the 3 inch could i just AAL to the one on top of what i already have to make 4? just was not sure how it worked. i already took my flares off was thinking of folding them instead of cutting. I would like to put 33x12.5 on my stock XJ wheels. Will that work i know the 33x10.5 would but not sure about the 12.5 and will i have enough clearance with out cutting the flares. I did see that alot of people put the 33x12.5 on there and only trim the front fenders not the back. Anyone with good suggestions on this please let me know. i know there is tons of threads and all about all this just wanna see what more of you all think Thanks

Also for anything larger then a 31 on an xj you have to trim cause the small wheel wells.
I would steer away from Rustys every Rustys component I've had has failed and they pass the blame and don't hold upto their end of the warranty.
Get some 3.5" re coils , 2.5" oLd man emu leafs 1" shackles , lower control arms , adjustable trackbar , bilstein or fox shocks , trim the fenders front and rear extend the bumpstops , and add extended brake lines cAll it a day
so you have 2" spacer coils front & rear 2" shackles to boost 3" Rancho AAL pak or kit come with Full 3" leaf springs in that kit ?
