Ronin has a point, that show was way better back in the day. It's pretty redundant, they are just an advertising agent for pricey parts.
Would love to see them do a true budget build, where they buy ZERO new parts. Use junco yard parts and or repurpose existing parts. Any a$$hat can run up a credit card and build a sweet rig.
Show me what you can build picking parts from a honest to goodness old school junkyard.

Bingo. I wish they would focus more on fab, and provide tips and tricks to design, welding, and mods and such. Like building your own tube doors, bumpers, rocker gaurds, body armor...or things like junkyard builds, compatible parts for different rides...the majority of people who watch the show would benefit more from things like that, rather than learning how to throw a checkbook at everything.
On that supposed $5000 dollar Toyota build I figured they had wrapped up a huge percentage of their "budget" in heim joints alone.
But that's the nature of this show and every other. They only exist to pimp products to us.
