my roof was a different color for a long time and it looked fine

That looks cool.I would do the door pillars also.My XJ is all white so I can't do it.Maybe I could do a blue roof?

I like that one better. That's how Im doing mine (keeping all the pillars blue, just having a white top). The white bedliner I ordered still hasn't come in, but I'll have the blue done tonight.

 

post many pictures, im doing the top today and saving the blue for last

 

i started the white today, ran out of paint

im spray painting it,
then going over and fixing bubbles/smudges/blemishes
and then clear coating

eventually when i get an air gun and air compressor ill redo the paintjob doing an extensive job and then ill use bedliner on the sides and mabe roof

 

Can't wait to see it... sounds like a cool project!

nevermind, the roofs not white and thats a stock color, looked different on my phone

 

started my white roof, ran outve paint but its pretty much done
