XJ Bolt on tube fenders - Interest
I am in the process of designing a bolt on tube fender and trail armor for the front and rear of a Jeep Cherokee, Once I render the Drawings in cad I will post up some pics and see what you guys think. They will be mounted to 3/16 Steel with a 2 to 3 inch fender have not decided yet for sure. They will be a Cut out design so you can use them as a template for fender trimming.
I have not seen a company that produces these yet so just seeing if there is any interest at all if not they will be a one off for my cherokee.
They will be cut out on a waterjet, and mandrel tubing and 20 gauge steel for the fenders.
They will bolt on the same as the thor guards~

They Should hold up just fine, There same thickness as the other companys quarter panel protection, The tubing is 1" Dom Tubing I think they should take a beating. The weak link will be the fender and the quarter panel but that is the same as the other ones I have seen~

tube fender interest
I drew my XJ on autocad...I added some flat fenders like on a CJ/TJ .....on mine I ran the tubes down to the rock sliders or thru the fender well to the frame, and the front to the grille guard. Still working on the rear fenders....anyway you have a good idea there...

I read through that thread. Couldn't post anything on it but now that I see it here I just wanted to say incredible work man. Looks like it came from the factory that way.
