You know, I have heard this same thing alot. But I had 33x12.5 firestone destination mt's ii loved them, I ran them through some serious trails, mud, rocks, trails, and my personal favorite. Rocky creek beds. I ran them at 12 lbs of pressure and never had any issues

I think that is what i had on my old 95 zj and i went through three different tires either due to punctures or wearing extremely uneven so i bought some BFG ats and never looked back. Plus the people at firestone where real mc@$$holes

I have a 07 dodge mega cab 1500 and I have the nitto all terrain Terra grablers and I got 80,000 out of them. They held out to everything I put the truck through. Hauling a 88 k2500 on 44s on my car hualer. And the grass was wet and a mud driveway. Snow I plow in 2wd no problem
