Anyone up on cherokee prices? I'm considering selling my 1996 XJ country, 4x4, 4 door, auto, Power windows/locks. Good interior except for the standard sagging headliner in some spots, and the drivers seat was replaced with a ZJ seat.

Its a 4.0 with 74,000 and some change, original miles on it. Anyone know what a cherokee like this is worth? It also has no rust except for a small spot on the roof. And 90's paint.

My 99, garaged its whole life, 1 owner never seen winter, scratchless, 100% rust free(for real) perfect interior 140k and most were highway I bought for 2300 around here. Beaters go for 300 and anything inspectable is 1000. the nicest of the nice with low miles are 3500. Dealerships ask 4200 sometimes. So I'd say 2500 is reasonable

That's rediculous. all vehicles are worth less up here. if I go down to mass, my 2300$ xj can go for 5000 easily. idk why. I mean there's the rare 5-6k xj thats in factory condition but 97% are less than 4000. wranglers are xpensive. 6k for a rusted out 98 stock tj... Lol and awd cars, and diesel trucks

Dealers almost always ask for double the bluebook on most autos today so take that in mind and if your going to trade it in at a dealer you probably won't get over a thousand for any xj, no matter how clean,

the price is going to differ across the country, best to ask people in your area

That's pretty low mileage, which should make for a higher price, but it depends how many others are for sale in your area.

If someone is selling one with 100K on it for less, people will most likely buy that one... it is a 16 year old car...

Attachment 120108 In 2008, My '91 limited with no rust, and 62,000 miles only Blue booked at $2500. I got it free, I inherited it. and don't plan on ever selling it. It's at 70,000 miles.

Just check your local craigslist under owner and check again a week later see what really sold.
