Does anybody make a roof rack for the wj that can't mount to the rail that come stock?

 

thule and yakima should have attachable feet that mount to stock rails

 

Do you think those would look good on a wj? My prob is my spare won't fit in the wheel well for it so I was going to put ot on my roof

 

Check out the rola or rage roof racks. Theyre a cheap decent looking option.

 

How do you get the roof rack bars off?

Yakima makes good stuff. Thule also makes nice stuff. Inno might make something and is a cheaper alternative.

 

Not sure if something like this would be good to cheap out on.

 

By all means, go for the Yakima.... I have A Yak rack on my lexus, and it's been great. No problems, and everything is in great shape even after 3 years of salty winters. If you can cough up the cash, go for it!

Also, ORSracksdirect.com usually has good deals on that stuff. You can probably google a coupon code for that website as well to get a little more off.

 

Sweet, id love to find it cheaper but hey If I got to work a weekend or 2 to save up for it I think it would be worth it!
