Question WJ ground clearance - any good?

Hi guys,

I am buying a WJ, hopefully tomorrow. I was originally looking for an XJ but here in the UK, the 4.0's are too thirsty and the diesels don't have a brilliant reputation whereas the WJ 2.7 diesel seems to have good reviews.

My only concern though is that stock WJs don't seem to have much ground clearance. (just by looking at them) However, I was unable to find much online to suggest that ground clearance is a problem for the WJ. Does a stock WJ have poor ground clearance or is that just my perception? (when comparing it to other serious off roaders)

Cheers

Rich

It's almost just like the Cherokee in stock ground clearance. So if you're fine with the clearance of a stock XJ, you should be fine with a stock WJ.

However, when I looked at them lifted I almost spat my coffee on my computer.

Okay that was unfair. This one looks half-way decent:

I'm starting to like WJ's. I think that might be my next DD. That one would look sharp if it wasn't for all that lime green bull ****.

I suppose for a daily driver it wouldn't be a bad car. However it just has too many curves for me to take it seriously.
