I just bought some new off brand KC lights from a fellow member here and I was wondering how exactly i would go about wiring them? I know i have to hook it up to the battery and run it thru the firewall and throw a switch next to the wiper button but how exactly do i go about running the wire thru the dash?

I would run the power to a relay and then run the wire from the relay to the switch.
There are plenty of holes to use in the firewall. Use one that has a gromet so the wires don't get rubbed, cut through, and shorted.

How would I run the relay in combination with the lights I haven't done much wiring in cars before

yes no indicator is required, but many switches are lighted you dont have to hook up the light for the switch to work but if you want to know when the lights are on than hook up the light

Searched this thread but couldn't find my answer. Hoping someone has a quick one.
If you want to hook the switch to your headlights on your XJ, which wire should you tap into? And if you did NOT want to run it to your headlights, what would you run the "out" switch wire to?
