Yeah, that's gonna need a bit more than a gasket and some urethane!

I'm not sure that can be saved by anything less than splicing in a good section from a donor vehicle, if such a thing exists.

I’ve barely looked into pricing on getting my windshield replaced, however I’m only getting it replaced because the seal/molding is all warped and shrunken. If someone who has more experience in this area could answer a question for me that’d be great, would I be able to have someone just reinstall my current windshield? I know it probably depends on who I ask, but are there any obvious reason someone wouldn’t?

I’m not as familiar with the 96 design. Pretty sure they have a plastic or metal molding also. And the seal itself is different then the later models. Something like that you would probably be able to get someone from a smaller privately owned glass company to do. Also check your local body shop.

I've reached out to a couple places but only one has responded so far. They said $125 if the windshield doesn’t break when they remove it or $260 if the windshield needs replaced.
