What is the stock tint percent of a 2000 jeep Cherokee classic. I want to tint my front windows to match.

 

I believe it's 15% for the back windows

 

It is also annoying because the tint is darker on the inside than the stock tint

 

Be careful what your state allows for the % of tint allowed on front windows most states regulate what they can be. If you exceed the limit it is a hefty fine and the patrol supervisors cars always have the guns to check the tint if the officer wants to.


Just FYI

 

5% on the all rears,35% on the front two doors,a strip of 5% on top of the windshield & rain deflectors. That's the legal limit in Illinois.

 

You don't want to be able to see or is it be seen? It may not be as "cool" but glass is clear for a reason...

pay someone to do it. They do a better job and you have someone to blame when it messes up. I have a warranty on all of my tint. 18% is factory rear. Front windows are 20% windshield is 70%.

yes. I told the guy to get as close as he could to match the front. Looks good to me. Any darker and you can't see anything at night. Heck sometimes I still can't see anything at night. Put a rear light bar on so I didn't have to roll down the window to back up at night.

 

lol yah gonna buy some cheap roll of 20 percent then... I did my friends car... I just cut it to size. Spray window with with windex so I can move it around and then squige windex out

 

how long ago? That cheap stuff doesn't last. I have high quality tint to reduce the interior heat.
