i dont see why some threads are closed.. Just like xjman941's build got closed down "1997 XJ on FULL WIDTHS and 44's" and completely erased. I seen nothing wrong with that thread besides massive amounts of sarcasm. I understand this is supposed to be a flame free and family friendly forum, however if you look at the things they show on television nowadays...

And on a side note.. I remember when i first joined should a thread get out of hand 90% of the time thread was cleaned up and those responsible for causing the trouble were given infractions.. I know i got a few back in the day.

im just saying theres no need in getting rid of a place for people to flame amongst themselves about the day to day irritations of this forum.. Its alot better here than taking up space in threads where people actually need help..

I get most of my info by searching and rarely post to any forums but if everyone was like me this would be an awfully boring forum.

If you search first, you can post more informed and specific questions. There will be more discussion.
The exact same thread on "which cheap *** lift kit can I buy" is going to have the same answers.

I think it's funny when people complain that the search function doesn't work right, or work at all...when really it's simply that said people obviously can't use the search function properly.

The search button sucks. Google is way better at getting relevant results.

It really doesn't. Google works better and just throw in Cherokee Forum in with your search and it's much more refined and less cluttered as the search here.

I understand how you can use Google to find things on here and know that it works.

However, that does not take away from people not understanding how to use the search function here properly.
