So they started making the Cherokee in 84. I'm sure it didn't take people long to start modifying them. Who has the oldest suspension lift on here??

The po put the lift on back in, I want to say 92. He got it from some guy in Colorado and he told me he had the first lifted cherokee for a while in his area

It was mine.
Right off the factory floor it was taken to a shop, lifted, then taken to a dealership to be used as an advertisement.

Legend has it, from a guy that's been lifting Jeeps for a long time, that the original lift in the front was stacking the rubber coil isolators

a buddy of mine had an xj that was built in the early 90's. Every so often he would find a picture of his jeep wheeling somewhere long before he owned it and he'd show me lol.
I know trailmaster had control arm drop brackets before RE and long before longarms and rough country drop brackets. Looks like they stopped making those though.
