Take my advice i detailed cars for 3 yrs and still use this method to day it works
this pic is from when they were bran new but they came with that blue crap all over can you see any blue?

You are going to get the best results with just cleaning the daylights out of them with Bleach White and a Brillo pad.
THEN - use the Duplicolor whitewall pen. they will look BRAND NEW!

I found the a similar product as duplicolor called monkey something. I will give that a try.
