thinking about painting my hood on my cherokee flat black..

I have a blue hood on my black xj. It look awesome. I don't see why u can't put it on lol

So it'll look like a police jeep? By the way, painting the hood was the hardest part of painting my jeep. Maybe you'll end up painting the whole thing!

Should look fine. My header panel, hood, and cowl are satin black, the rest of mine is maroon for now, it doesn't look bad imo, but I'm painting my whole Jeep satin black, I don't plan on leaving it like that for long. Just don't have time to prep and paint my whole Jeep at once.

one thing i ALWAYS do before i paint anything is take a picture of your jeep.... put it in paint and explore different painting options and find the one that YOU like the best... youll be original and youll have a good idea of what its gonna look like before you do it!

PLASTI-DIP...buy it on eBay. It's cheaper in bulk..at least for me its cheaper

My jeep is black.wonder if painting the hood white would help heat soak to keep sun from baking it.lol.black with white hood would look ugly.white with black hood would look alrite.
My brotha in law has a black strip on his white xj

I did most of my hood with plastidip. I did most of the roof too, for the fun of it.
