ahh that sucks. Around here you'll usually only get in trouble for a handgun without a permit. So many hunters around here they usually dont care unless they're just having "one of those days" lol

Long story, I was in a hurry an they were uncased, unloaded, and the bolts were open laid in hatch area.

Got pulled over at midnight with 3 people and a half gallon of captain...

One more reason to love Vermont.. You have to make an effort to get in trouble with guns around here.. I guess good and bad depending, but I suppose that if someone is gonna be reckless or destructive with a firearm, they are gonna be reckless or destructive. The ability to legally carry one is inconsequential at that point cause even though it may be illegal to conceal a firearm, that just isn't enough to deter people sometimes... Idk...
