Default Where do you guys store your spares?

I have my trail spare, which is brand new, but where do I store it? Outside with a tarp over it? basement? Any special stuff like tire wet ( to keep it conditioned ) should be applied? Reason Im asking, is because as we all know the spares can be all cracked up when we need them and might even not be there when we need them.

Back of the Jeep. Had it on the roof for a while but gas mileage tanked bad with it up there. So put it back in the back of the heep.

As far as tool kits and fluids and what not I keep in mine at all times! U never no. I don't have a trail spare yet but all the other stuff never leaves my trail box in the back of my truck.

I just picked up a used set of swampers, measured in at 2- 19/32 and 2- 18/32 so not really worn much. And it came with a full sized spare. The spare is 21/32.. Should I throw the spare into rotation now or just leave it full sized?

X2
I keep my spare in the garage unless I'm wheeling. In order to save gas money, I take the chance of having to wait for someone to bring it to me.
