need some ideas, pictures. i sat inside of the jeep today and stared for about 15 minutes and i still can't come up with where i need to mount the cb radio.

I reworked my CB into a ZJ overhead console and mounted it up top and out of the way




Did all this when I put in ZJ power seats and recovered the headliner. Now I'm ripping it all back out to put in the Dark Charcoal interior and get rid of the light gray I have and be rid of the woodgrain as well

audioguy...what cb is that? looking at it i see it might fit in the little vubby hole above the shifter.....i thought that be a cool place to install one.

i see a lot of guys make a mounting plate between the visors and mount it up top like a trucker. lol

 

Mine is wedged between my pass seat and ceneter consol. Mines a 99. Girlfriend hates it there is no other place for the size of my cb

 

i'm trying my best to make it look neat. and if i set it anywhere near the passenger seat, the wife will have a fit. and FrankZ told me that the cobra 75 is not a good unit to have. because i was gonna get just the 75, so that i wouldn't need the control box.

J Rod, it's the cheaper Midland it was only like $20 which is why I didn't care about chopping it up.

Just felt like I could do more with it and didn't really like it there, wasn't in my view, just rattled on the windshield
