Just a thread to tell what the worst part that ever broke on your jeep. Or the worst thing that ever happened to it, such as rolling off a cliff...

Not to long after i got the jeep i took it wheeling for the first time and broke the front axle shaft and u-joint...got stuck in a rut.
Buried the axle.
As it sat waiting to get pulled out...back when i had race slicks(all terrains) Believe it or not in this pic those all terrains where almost brand new.

All of my worst experiences were only cosmetic! This wasn't so bad but hell, might as well add to the pics, haha. Hit a deer going 65, and that was at impact too - I didn't see the deer coming until I hit it. Ford built tough? Pssh, that's Jeep!!

Sorry to triple post - geez! haha - but wanted to show what I added after my second deer accident (no pics, wasn't so bad but put a pretty good crack in the header panel) Hoping this helps me with deer number 3

The centering bearing in the front shaft goes out and the two u-joints bind and still have to turn so it rips the t-case apart. That makes the 3rd time Ive seen that happen.
Broke an axle shaft, ripped a ball joint apart, and bent a housing all in one shabang.

I don't have pics but these "Brokes" speak for themselves. I broke the passenger side front axle shaft right at the diff. splines (Walker Valley). I've also had the rear driveshaft take a rock dent then twist in two (Evans Creek).

My first jeep was a 93 xj. Had it it for 2 weeks and then rolled it into a ditch making a left turn while downpouring rain. Landed on my wheels. Changed a flat tire and drove it home 7 miles like that. Now it just sits in the driveway for parts.
