Hey guys just put a new remaned 4.0 in my 2 door and everythings goin fine with it but its sittin round 215 220 on the temp gage was just woundering if that was normal it seems a little warm to me it has a 190 thermostate in it. I would go off my 89 but havnt got a temp gage just a idiot light that lets u know ur already to hot.

 

I think you've got a 195 thermostat, your temp should be around 195, 215-220 is high.

 

Yea thats what is is I thought it was high to its got the old radiator in it still so its probly starting to stop up on me

 

Mine runs at ~205 with normal driving

 

gauge says 210ish normally
ECU is reading ~204 per the old man's bluepoint OBDII scanner

 

Living in AZ I run a 165 an it runs about that.

 

Thanks for all the imput guys mine runs about 210 cruisin at 55 but when I slow down it rises to bout 220 I checked my coolant levels and I just got the motor put in yesterday and its bored .030 over so I dunno of that has somthin to do with it or id I need to flush the radiator im thinkin bout just orderin a 3 row
