I was or am lookin to spend at max 275 this weekend... and as far as I know gears or flares are much more than that...

I was thinking of getting flat flares, but same I think they look weird. Go for wheel then I bet you rub like crazy when you try turning.

Yeah get those wheels and flares taken care of and then worry about articulation from there. No need for articulation if you can't turn the steering wheel without worrying about breaking something!
