Default Whats a good lift?

I just got a stock 1999 Cherokee sport with only 80,000 miles on it! I really want to lift it! I was told you can't do a body lift on an XJ Because its a unibody. I really don't want to do a suspension lift are there any other options or is that the only choice?

Yeah, I also wish I could have an awesome body lift instead of this stupid suspension lift we all have to make due with.

You could do a body lift if you knew how to fab, then drill out a million spot welds to separate the body from the rails and then making something that will go front to rear that you can weld in to fill the gap after lifting the body. Not something you can't do in an apartment parking lot. It would take a boatload of time and money to do and would still have to trailer it to the scrapyard before you were done because the Jeep would be scrap metal before you got halfway done.

Get a good suspension lift, you will get at least a dozen companies that make good lifts. Mine are BDS and Zone.

He asked for a good lift RC is not good it is garbage.

RE with Bilstein 5100's, OME , BDS, Clayton, TNT Customs, Serious Offroad are all good kits but be prepared to spend a pretty penny

I've got roughly about 2500 to spend on a lift. I've just had lots of friends with suspension lifts on their XJ's say they never drive the same again once it's been on there a long time and that it can mess with the gas Milage. I'll check out some suspension lifts though

the only option for the cherokee is suspension lifts (which are the proper/better way to lift anyway). it takes a lot of time and fine tuning and money to get it riding smoothly. look into old man emu. but we need more info before we can make a good recommendation
are you going to off road it?
how tall?
what size tires?
you can get a premium lift for $2500. but you'll still need to buy shocks and an SYE etc.
