Got on a local highway and was running 100mph at 3200rpms. Strait away of course. turning would have been possibly bad with being a brick on wheels and all. Merging into traffic it does pretty good. Never done a 0-60 time. I like to spend my time contemplating when I will be in "Granny Low" again.

Wow, a stock XJ will do somewhere around 7-8 seconds, maybe better, maybe worse. It depends on torque/hp and curb weight, we are not driving bricks until they have 33"+ tires on them, my Jeep with a motor that has maybe 98k on it since built, and maybe 250miles since the rebuild will do it in less than 7 seconds, and I get 22-25 mpg AVERAGE. BUT then again, I have stock rims, and street tires. Also every sensor on my Jeep is brand new, new air filter, and the spark plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor button, etc. have been replaced with parts store premium oem.

Default 33s with 4.56 gears

Okay, so, I have 33s with a spare on the back bumper, along with a 5 gallon gas can and hi-lift jack. I also have a 9000# winch on a smitty built front bumper and a smitty built rack on top. Currently there is about 50 pounds of tools and recovery gear in the back as well. I should also note that I have true track in the rear and have removed the front hugs and swapped them out for ranger manual hubs.
So, here's my data as of 10 minutes ago.
0-60 in 14.678
0.153 miles

Recent work that has improved performance. - Removed three, YES 3 clogged Catalytic Converters and installed a new head, OEM spec.
I have noticed that the new fan clutch seems to activate before it should. Lots of fan noise and I'm sure that's holding me back a little.
