I'm finding prices all over the place around here. I'm eying on particular one, but I doubt it'll be there in a couple months. I would just research KBB/NADA/Edmunds to get an idea. I'll be selling mine here in a couple months or so. 2000 4-door 4x4 model, w/ 71,900 miles on it for $5500.

well a friend of mine just bought a 97, first year for the newer body style XJ, with 135k miles, and he paid 3 grand...one like what you're talking about in good shape, around here, would bring about 1800-2000...something like that

It all depends. I have seen them go from anywhere between $1500-6000 depending.

good point...the biggest factor is whether or not the XJ is being sold "private party" or if it is being sold at a dealer

Yeah, craigslist is your best bet. I got my 98 XJ sport for 1,200 from a guy out in Lake Orion. It wasn't in the best of shape, but with all repairs it ran about $1,500-$1,600 ish. You just need to find that on good deal that occasionally pops up.

Looks like that one may have been in a little collision judging by the mix-matched paint on the front end.

Checked that car out, it was a piece for the price.

The V6 was fast.

good find Jamie. I found another local jeep with a V6 in it. However, this one is "straight V6" Here's the link = http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/1304171868.html

I didn't even know those existed, let alone came in Jeeps. Also, is it just me or do the duel fire extinguishers seem like a bit of overkill?
