I love my 2012 F150 coyote 5.0.
runs mid 14's in the 1/4 mile, gets high teens mpg every day and low-mid 20's on the highway. and its super comfortable.
my only regret is I thought I wanted a modern version of a lightning, so I bought a reg cab short bed 2wd. probably next year I plan on trading it for something bigger, probably an ex cab 4x4. but aside from the cab change 4wd, I want basically the same exact truck I already have.

I'm a Dodge guy and really want a 1942 Dodge WDX. I LOVE the old Power Wagons. On a side note, I inherited a 1948 Indian Chief (motorcycle) that I'm working on restoring. I HAVE to have a 4x4 but there ain't nothin' like riding a classic bike.

1, that's a sad, pitiful world you've described. 2, if it couldn't be my XJ, I'd probably go with a '75 Grand Wagoneer with the 401.
