Hey fellas, I recently bought my first car in May and went with the 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4. Its a XJ. I recently purchased 29" tires for it and it is at stock height. Now i'm in the market for a lift. I'm trying to stay under $400 for a lift kit. I was thinking of a 2.5" lift but with 29" tires I'm not sure how it would look. I've been looking all over the internet but its like no one has a 2.5 inch lift with 29" inch tires. And im starting to think theres a reason for that. If anyone has suggestions PLEASE let me know. Should I get a 2" lift? will that even make it look more aggressive? If anyone has pictures or suggestions please help me. Thank you fellas.

 

3 inch lift if you want a complete kit. 29 imch tires look fine...... you dont see people with 2.5 inches of lift because there arent many options. You can piece together a 2 inch lift and 29 inch tires. Thats my setup.

EDIT - These are 245/75R/16's ... so actually 30.5"

 

2" and 30 tires is a sweet combo. For a variety of reasons. Looks great on your 2door PCO6.

I'm at about 1.75 and 30.

 

2" Lift and 30" Tires.

 

Not really a lot of size difference between 235's and 30/9.50's. Talking 15" sizes.
