I know of little used car lots that use that interior spray paint which is specifically for that purpose. I would highly recomment rubbing everything down really good with a mineral spirit or something first in case there are ANY old chemicals ie Armorall or something. I'm leery of that spray to be honest because if it peals, it really looks like BUTT! It's not bad on a cloth interior other than the cloth not being nearly as soft.

use a good cleaner and use the interior dye spray type product at autozone... it works decent. theres no real good cheap dye.
xylene is a good cleaner to use first and then use denatured alcahol to get rid of the film the xylene leaves...

X2 clean it good, and use an interior spray paint dye, many light coats are better then a few heavy ones, if done right it turns out very nicely
