Well, Im planning on upgrading my stock setup to a cold air intake within the next few weeks. Im looking foward to the better throttle response and hopefully a few extra MPG's.
I know alot of you guys are running cold air systems. Which set up did you buy? How is it working out for you?

Im not really looking to make my own or anything, just wanted to see pre-made setups people had good experience with because there seems to be sooo many to pick from. Thanks for that link, Summit always has crazy low prices.
The S&B setup looks pretty nice too...

I can understand that. I wanted a clean and easy install thats why I went with an 'intake in a box' as well.
I went with a Mopar intake (re-badged aFe) because the intake tube runs straight back, then curves up over the brake booster and then turns down to the throttle body. The extra runner length, as I will call it, helps smooth out the air flow. Less turbulence will allow for better fuel/air atomization. Also having the intake tube connect to the throttle body from the rear of the engine bay allows for a larger radius on to the top of the throttle body, again less turbulence.
The other brands on the market seem to make a straight line from filter to throttle body. In my opinion this is not as effective as the larger radius from filter to TB. As the point should be to increase efficiency as this is where the power/performance will come from.
On a side note I highly doubt our little 4-0's consume more air then a stock air box can handle. However the increase in efficiency in which the engine consumes said air should result in some sort of gain. If nothing else you get a cool sound from the intake and it will make your exhaust sound deeper. Good luck, hope this helps.
