Default What doesn't work -

at full turn the inside rear of my front tires hit the rear control arms. Not by much, but it's enough. I need to figure out how / if I want to ease off on the control arm to make room.

Driver's side door has internal issues. window gears slip if there's load (after it closes etc.), external lock and internal locks are siezed.

rear hatch will only open if you know the magic massage. (press the door, then pull handle)

A/C blows warm air

stereo sucks.

needs new shocks all around

steering stabilizer is shot

Rims with more back spacing will eliminate rub. You have what are called steer stops. They are bolts located on each front wheel that limit how far they can turn. Adjusting those will help you avoid scrubbing on your LCA's.

As for the window and door issues your panel is very easy to pull off. When you do this, you can access all of the mechanical and electrical functions underneath to help you assess what is damaged. Keep wiring is notoriously week so if all of your windows are still working, consider yourself lucky. I had to go in and bypassed one of the harnesses to get all of my windows to work. And yeah, my window does the ratchet noise when it's gone fully up or down to but it still functions properly. The air conditioning blowing warm air is just one of those things. I ended up removing the entire AC compressor entirely so that it wouldn't try to activate it and take horsepower away from my motor.. Besides I live in Vermont. I don't need AC. The stereo sucking and the steering stabilizer though I feel like to be relatively simple fixes...

I had the same problem with the rear hatch, it got more and more difficult to open until one day it wouldn't open so I hit it multiple times on the inside with a crowbar to open it and then I WD-40'd the mechanisms and it opens like its 1998 again haha.

There are a couple of resolutions here. The stock front lower control arm is a piece of bent sheetmetal, so pretty much anything is an improvement. Any custom replacement arm will do better because they are all round stock instead of giant square sheetmetal.

I like my wheels, and I don't want the tire sticking too far outside the crapcatchers.

Good to know that the panel comes off easy. Been meaning to deal with it.

So I don't come off as lazy and negligent of my beloved cheap jerky, let me list what has been done to it in the past month :

New wheels (Dodge 17x7 steelies, from the interceptor package), replaced radiator, replaced all brakes and rotors/drums, replaced front CV joints, replaced u-joint.
