What do you think of this Cherokee?
Iv had my 1995 jeep cherokee for alittle over a year now and in that time iv had to replace brakes, steering stabilizer, motor mounts, and many other things. Iv spent over 900 in parts. After i finish the motor mount work(Again....one came off and the radiator fan is stuck against the frame of my truck obvoisly effecting every aspect of it). Now its time for a new cherokee but i have a problem making a choice lol. Heres my top pick
a red 1999 Cherokee Sport for just under $6000, Three main Questions, is it nice, is it worth the money, and is the 6in ift alittle much?(Notes From Dealer: THIS JEEP FEATURES A 4.0L STRAIGHT 6 MOTOR, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, 4X4, POWER DOOR LOCKS AND WINDOWS, AM/FM/CD RADIO, 6 INCH SUSPENSION LIFT KIT, BLACK WHEELS, 32 INCH TIRES. RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD. THERE IS ONLY 122K MILES.) Or should i just say goodbye to the cherokee game and get a black 2002 wrangler x softtop or summer? haha.

The Jeep looks nice. Definitely does not look like a 6" though, with only 32's. You could get that Jeep a lot cheaper, from a private party. That is low mileage though, and maybe they'd give you a warranty with it.

Im mostly gunna take advantage of it in the winter but ill probly take it to some decent spots every now and then. i have 8000 to spend on a cherokee so this was the best i could find, unless i just buy another beater and hook it up but there was just to much maitenence on my 95, and i barly beat it up....although i did have it tearin through over 2 feet of snow lol

Surely, you're not planning to pay the asking price. You have the cash so 0ffer $4500 & meet in the middle. Don't deal with a salesman that won't haggle. If you have the cash then you have an advantage & you're not having to mess with their finance manager who'll try to talk you into all the insurance add ons.
Make an offer. That's the fun art of buying.

thats way to much for that cherokee, it looks like its been repainted in the front, look for unibody damage, or any other damage in the front there, its probably been wrecked, the paint on the fender doesnt match the doors or rear quarter

Nice! very clean, but that's too much! Never pay more then book value, do your homework and find it's true value and stick with it, there's alot of nice Jeeps out there, sometimes it just takes awhile to find a good deal, but worth the wait and searching.
