Well, I haven't seen any threads asking what you've named your XJ or other jeep- doesn't mean they aren't out there, I just didn't see 'em in the lookin' I did. -so.. Without babbling anymore,, What did you name your XJ and why?

For instance, I decided to name mine Lexie since "X" is a major part of the name, and I've always liked that name.

I never thought of naming this jeep, Ive name other cars before tho. Had a 95 riviera that was gold and named it the cockroach lol. Have a firebird formula i named vendetta.

Spose I could call it ol' blue.... haha I dunno, not good with car names.

I call mine the "Jeep", And I can't post what my wife calls it.

her name is Nancy =] all my buddies name our vehicles. and i just got new wheels today that im pretty freakin excited about!! :icon_cheesygrin:

and oh my friend named her Nancy after my other friends mom...... idky but ever since then we try to name our vehicles after eachothers parents.. lol

wowww nancy is sexy lol. cant wait to see how she looks with a lift and tires!

but anyway my first jeep was jeep, second jeep was Shelly because her paint was green and reminded me of a turtle shell now this one i have now is Jeep until i repaint it and then itll be The General :) until my neighbors complain and i get in trouble with it then itll be black rhino lined paint and just be Jeep again or something

but ive had a Civic named Madeline aka Maddy, a Blazer named Courtney and subaru named Scooby

same!!! but im leaving to school in a few weeks and have no job atm (got fired) so i cant afford that stuff now... hopefully i can next summer though!!! id love to start it out with a 2.5-3" lift with some 31 bfg's

yea ive had a 4", 4.5" and 3" and for the money and being a dd im content with the 3". sure id always like bigger but for the local stuff i have 3" is just fine and rides like a caddilac. if i ever relift it itll be huge with full size axles lol. maybe if i still have her in 10 years lol

yeah my buddies who had jeeps and other people ive talked to said the same thing bout a 3" lift, so thats what id like to get! id love to have it lifted though...got a friend who's got that xj below with a 6.5" lift with some 36's i believe? and my other close friend has a $130k f350 lifted close to 12" on 39's.. god that thing is beautiful and amazing to ride in.. took that photo too this past july 4th

92 Cherokee sport 2 door POS. named it Cherry. My friend just got back from living in England for years and he started calling it cherry cuz I guess that's what they call Cherokees over there. It just stuck

I call them by their respective color followed by the word Jeep.

For example:

My trail Jeep is tan. I call it "The Tan Jeep."

My DD is red. I call it "The Red Jeep."

My wife's Jeep is also red but she calls it "My Jeep"

The MJ is known as "The MJ" (It's black, but it's the only driveable MJ)

The MJ in the back yard that never moves is known as "The piece of **** MJ"

We also have what's known as "The piece of **** XJ" (Which sits beside "The piece of **** MJ")

Now, to be all fancy...

My wife has named The Tan Jeep... Frank (Frankenstein), because it has a lot of different parts from a lot of different vehicles on it.

She has named The Red Jeep... Jennie. I have no clue why she named it Jennie.

Again, she calls her Jeep "My Jeep", a.k.a. "Mommy's Jeep."(Usually, I'm talking to the kids and tell them to get in "Mommy's Jeep." Then I hear, "Which one is Mommy's Jeep?" Since apparently they look so similar to one another. Kinda like foreign people all look the same to me.)


Personally, I think naming a vehicle is pretty lame. But, as you see, all the ones I have are named.

Can we solicit naming suggestions too? Here's my 1990 Pioneer:

I call her ...trusty ...because she has not let me down yet!!!

I call mine Sandy when i purchased her it had a little hula girl on the dash and that name just hit me haha so i called the Jeep Sandy

Named her bailey after my dog who passed away 3 years ago

my neighbor has a dog named bailey, who is going on three years old now, but its a chocolate lab

I named my Cherokee "Dirty Girl" because when we got her she was dirty. Haha.

mine was a chocolate as well. best dogs ever.

It looks like a "Stanley" to me.. I dunno why.. Take it or leave it. If you wanna girl name, maybe "Stacy Jo"?

Mines called "sweets" cause I drove it around for about a week before I decided to clean her out and found two half eat cinnomon rolls under the back seat. I guess the pervious owner had a couple kids that didn't like cinnomon rolls are something

Mines name is Karen. Cause of the money Talladega nights: ballad of Ricky Bobby, the cougar in the movie that lived in his car's name was Karen.. And I like to think of my jeep as a fierce cougar. LOL....guess you would have to see/ seen the movie to laugh at it

Oddly I was thinking of an older-school, formal-sounding name along those lines for it but couldn't settle on one. George and Earl didn't seem to stick but Stanley just may. Thanks. :cheers:

Jessica is her name. My parents always called her taylor (as in taylor swift) because i showed attraction to her,and because I love my jeep, so they call her taylor.
