I bought this XJ when I was 14 with black antifreeze, a really bad rust problem, and a rat. Looking back, part of me wishes I would have kept it stock and restore it to showroom quality.

Never thought it would escalate to this!

That looks like a lot of hard work! Right now I still have factory suspension and have upgraded most of the things that aren't noticeable (at a glance).. makes me wonder if i should keep it looking stock until I break the 100k miles mark

To lift, or not to lift, that is the question.

It was a lot of work, but its exactly what I wanted and worth every minute.

That would be awesome! Thanks man I try to keep her clean.. sometimes haha

Im really leaning towards the 3.5 super ride by RE with some 32's and minimal trimming once I hit 100k miles. Theres something to be said about a 20 + year old jeep thats mint. Theres even more to be said about a 20 +year old jeep with a lift.. that and my girl really wants me to lift it

IMO it looks slick as it sits, but a lift with the stock rims would look SWEET.
