Default HID flickering and color loss

Hi everyone, im pretty new to this and this is my first time doing anything to my car. i recently had a friend order an HID kit for my 06 grand Cherokee. after installing them, my passenger side which would be my right headlight, kept flickering. i got the 12k HID's which are very blue. i also noticed that my right headlight starts off as blue when i turn the lights on but eventually goes white along with the nonstop flickering. i know some people say it may be the ground and that the light is not getting enough power, but i dont think thats the issue. there is a ballast connected to each headlight and my car battery is giving the power. anyone have any idea why im having these two issues?

changed my oil and made one hell ofa mess lol cleaned my airfilter easiest thing ive ever done and saved alot of money about 6 air filters worth lol and found out where my power steering is leaking from. i think i might be able to fix it with some sort of apoxy or somethin. i cant buy just a resevwar( def spelt wrong lol) and a pump and everything costs 70 bucks and a lot of time. do you guys think that an apoxy will do a good enough job to hold it? if not any other ideas?
