I fried my battery and probly my altinator as well. when I jumped it, it wouldnt run unless I had my foot on the gas a little bit. Then I had my friend take the cables off and it ran like **** and the check engin light went on and the gen light as well. it ran for a few seconds and then died. so now it sits at my friends house and tomorow is gona be bad weather so maybe I can get my friend to help me diagnos this because I'm on crutches and changing an altinator is more than I can do in the rain right now. I hate that my jeep wont run an also that I cant work on it myself.

Yes, Manifolds... Intake and Exhaust, they come off together. It's a '99 XJ 4.0. Replaced the entire exhaust from the Exhaust Manifold "header" all the way back to the chrome tip.
Made it really easy to replace the blown motor mount while the "Manifolds" were off.
