Default Mom's Day Service

Since it was mothers day, I let my wife fix the jeep
Actually took her out shopping for home decorating and found a new floor.
The Peep, received a new harmonic balancer while the dinner ribs were on the bbq. Tight in there, no impact service to be had. Once the center bolt was out the balance was a breeze. Had to bar the balancer to stop it rotating. If you have to do yours someday, keep it on the floor. On the ramps was too high, had to do skrunches to reach the puller, I can always use the excersise. Don't do yours without both a puller and an installer! Borrowed sets from a friend. Really makes a difference and I owe him appreciation As the outside ring was separating and making it's way into the timechain cover, pulled the belt with it (constant squeel).
All ended well with a quiet belt, happy jeep, happy wife, great BBQ.

Bought a set of 5 cragar soft 8's for 150 bucks used, they are a little beat up but not to bad. Brought them home and painted them and found out I need valve cores. Here is before and after the flat black, I kinda wish the one wasn't d-window but I'm not complaining

Installed seats from a neon. Much firmer, better ride than the wore out stockers.

Tinted my tail lights with niteshades. Came out pretty good but now I'm paranoid about being pulled over LOL

I did bondo on an XJ before and I laid it on just about as thick. You just have to sand it down nice and smooth. The results I got from doing it were actually so good that I wasn't able to tell it was bondo'd!
