I gave it a REAL good cleaning on the outside... turns out I don't need paint! It was just road grit and tar haha

I started to do a full tune-up...I disconnected the battery and removed the negative terminal and gave it a good cleaning and re installed for a better connection (replacement terminal had weak connection.).
then I decided to look at the coils plug-in to make sure my new accel coil would work...I'll be damned if the harness was different from the new coil. But do you think that accel's site or my local auto parts guy mentioned I would need an adapter (which was $30 bucks!!! can we say ouch?!), hell no. So now I am waiting for the new wire adapter to come in so I can do my tune-up...

Once I get Torx drivers to unbolt the hinges, I will make one. There are a few on the net already.
on topic, today I replaced my blower motor resistor with one I got for $6 at the jy, its nice having more than one fan speed.
Also, took my surplus 81mm mortar box, cleaned it out, put foam rubber lining inside it with spray adhesive, and put it in the back with ratchet straps. Now I have a Jeep tool box. Time to get some tools!
