Funny, same thing happened to me except there was no water involved. I'm lucky it blew though and didn't catch fire... someone replaced the fuse with one that was 5 amps too high...

upper rad hose blew early sat morning. so i had to change that. i guess very little antifreeze came out, because i couldnt get any in and i burped it too. it squirted everywhere too,so i filled up the overflow to the full mark.

I'm no expert but that seems plausible since pressure is a product of flow restriction - not because of the adapter elimination but because of the smaller filter. If the pressure transducer/sensor is upstream of the filter then it makes more sense that the numbers would be elevated.

I'm growing more confident that the oil filter adapter o-ring replacement has resolved my problem with the rude smelling dribblage of the crude. There were no droplets in the driveway after idling 20 minutes this morning and I didn't smell burnt Texas Tea at all on my drive to-from Sunday services. Engine/bay/transmission/undercarriage(/driveway) pressure wash may come sooner than originally planned...

And then comes the A/C and headlamp connector/cable repairs (all underdash)...

It was yesterday, but first oil change to full synthetic, spliced the frayed wires on my O2 sensor, fixed sway bar linkage, cleaned off engine compartment.

Hmmm Well stopped the rear diff leak...Found where the coolent leak was coming from. Who was the idot that thought of just sticking the heater hose line into the top of the water pump? Stick a pipe into metal with just an o-ring to hold the seal...OMG! Checked the trans cooler line after a major oil blowout on the freeway. Now that was fun! Topped off the trans and engine again...Well that was my Sunday. Made me hungry. Time for some BBQ!

Yeah...Yeah Newbie on here but not to Jeeping. Started in 1974 and cant quit!

So I have a question for you jeep guys...Maybe you can direct me in the right direction... I have had the frt drive shaft out for the last 2 years due to not being able to keep the $200.00 CVC from going out after 50 to 100 miles. Havent found anyone on here with that problem. Would really like to have my 4X4 drive back. I am in a 1998 Grand fulltime 4X4 W/44re trans, 4 inch lift. Rebuilt that drive twice. Yeah it was on its way out when I bought it 2 years ago when it was street stock and belonged to granny here in town.
So what do I do now??
