I wanna guess before he answers. I'm going with Chevy S10 and the side windows are from a Ford Ranger.
How close am I?
Spot on. The side windows from the s-10 just didn't work. So I had to go back for the fords. Unfortunately they don't open like chevys did, but it's all good. If you can find a box body s-10 it would work. We've used those before. Now to wait on the jy to get a Comanche in. I'm letting the seam sealant set up overnight, then paint tomorrow.
Been having some shaking in the front end lately at highway speeds.
Installed Rough Country HD Tie Rod, and new tie rod ends. This thing is seriously heavy duty. https://www.roughcountry.com/jeep-he...-rod-1143.html
Recently, inner front axle seals, front axle u joints, new tie rod ends, new drag link, got the AC working, heat working, new swaybar bushings, sway bar disconnects from RC, transfer case drop kit, new bushings on the transmission cable, some interior pieces, now I am pretty sure I need to put new bearings in the front pinion, which I will not be doing myself. Lot's and lots of work for this old mud truck that needs a ton of love. Trying to turn this beater into a fun little daily/overlander.
Here's a pic of the day I brought it home, all the stickers are gone now.
Reckon I lucked out. Only thing died on mine was the switch. Lens , housing ,and wiring were fine. Got a single pole/single throw rocker switch from Auto Zone.
