I pulled an Audi Quattro out of the carpark at work
It's -12C here (10.4F) which is very rare for us, and he was on big fat summer tyres....
I'm loving the General Grabber AT2 M+S. For a stock jeep they're superb all year round.

I dunno if I'd like that or not. I like to play in the snow, but I don't really like the extreme cold weather. If it could stay in the upper teens/lower 20s F, I'd be happy.

I'm not looking forward to WI's January.

Last night I wrapped up my powersteering fix, today I drove her to work.

The snow is coming. We're both ready, bring it on!!

Took my Grand over to a friends house and pulled the front and rear seats out so I could wash the mud out of the floor boards and try to figure out how much rust shes hiding. Way more than I thought. On the plus side my Jeep doesn't smell like swamp mud anymore. Also cleaned the mud off the dash and door panels.

Got me a date tonight so I had to clean her up a bit. Cool part is this girl likes lifted 4x4s and want me to take her off road in it.

Sounds like maybe you should've kept some of the mud!

Although, swamp mud smell isn't a good aphrodisiac.

The Mrs and I was dating and we got the truck stuck, this was 22 years ago.
WE walked 5 miles to find the closest phone that night.
Man was her parents pissed. Wasn't long after that we eloped.

My XJ is going nto my shope soon as I hit submit and add the snap ring to the xfer case output shaft. Then I'm going to change the oil in the rear diff since its seeping around the cover, plus I can check the ratio then too.
then move to the front and fix the CAD to a permanent engaged position.
Then we get to try the 4x4, not serious tires aren't up to it.

Sounds like fun. But hopefully if I do get it stuck I have the winch to help us out.

I'm about to jump in the Jeep and drive the 30min to pick her up. I can't wait.

I had a come along, but all the trees close enough to reach it just pulled out by the roots.
Plus I was in a 2WD Ford PU.
My buddy went and got it the next day only to find the engine jumped time.
Only SB Ford I've ever seen bend the valves from Jumping time. :arrg

Well took the XJ apart and the Snap ring we got at the dealer is WRONG, its to big. I expect that kind of crap from Autozone or O'Reillys but not from a Dealer.

Put a CB in and messed around with the heater a bit more. Not exactly fun but had to be done. Still only have heat on the high setting.

I put in my new driver door panel and master window/door switch. Now I don't have to roll the windows down for my passengers.
