Installed HID headlights today. Why is it that things are never as simple as they look? I got frustrated yesterday and quit for the day. This morning I went out got the plasma torch and cut the back of the buckets out, used a hole saw to open up a hole for wiring to go through into the engine compartment where the ballast's mount. Finished it up in good time once I broke out the big boy tools. OH - and they even worked when I tried them!

I emptied all the firewood out of the back, and got her ready to have a psteering pump swapped.

Drove it up to Sarasota to have a late thanksgiving lunch with my Dad & Brothers & their families. Did some snowbird dodging
(disclamer: I love my snowbird neighbors
) going back south on us41. My 6 year old niece reminded me that she gets the jeep back in 10 years. A deals a deal (her dad gave me the XJ with the call back stipulation
).
And there was the cute girl in a green XJ I let merge in a tight spot. Thanks for the wave:-). I hope the reason you were in the wrong lane was not that you were texting.
So That's what we did today!

Fixed my broken Rough Country track bar today all thanks to ODgreen890n35's!
Thank you very much ODgreen for hunting down the cross reference number for it. Moog p/n is ES140R
I could not pound it out.

or drill it out

So I went to the junk yard and got another bracket.

and picked up my new tie rod end.

And put it all together and fixed for now!

Thanks agian ODgreen890n35's You searched
and rescued me!
I will be in the parade tomorrow and more importantly if there is a search tonight, I can respond in my Cherokee! I could not have done it with out your help!

Just put my KC daylighters on my front bumper... had them for nearly 4 years and just now had the time to install them.

put in my custom switch panel in where my ash tray used to be, super clean now and i dont have wires running all over the place, and the labels on the panel light up when i turn my headlights on, super cool!
Did you order the switch plate or did you make it? Photos?

I carefully scraped off the "Jeep" emblems, and the "4x4" and "Cherokee" decals, but left the pinstripe.
The writings and their placements distracted me.

The Jeep wouldn't start, so I tightened the serpentine belt and took a wire brush to the battery terminals and posts. It started right up after that, so I am happy for an easy, no cost, fix. Yay!!

I laughed at it. A big chunk of ice slid off a roof in Virginia City NV today, landing on my hood and fender and denting both. My reply? "Won't be any worse than anything I do to it."
