Painted new fender flare over the past couple days. Put it on today. Finally looks complete.

Wow that reminds me of my dads old jeep. The one I grew up working on and caused my love for XJs. Oh and his was a 5 speed as well. Here is the last picture I had before selling it last year. 300,000 on the FACTORY clutch.

filled my new engine with hi zinc oil getting it ready for the first start.

And I'll be he knows how to work a friction point! Sends chills up my spine like nails on a chalkboard when I hear people slipping a clutch to get a vehicle going. Find the dadgum friction point already!!!!

Replaced the CPS. Only took about 30 mins. Fixed the stalling. Also discovered that I lost a sway bar qd pin. So drove with no sway bar. Not terrible but I need to get new pins.

turned the key,,,IT CRANKED AND STARTED!! maybe starter ok now,,hoo raye!
shifts great, good heat,good brakes, doors lock,aok today good new yr start...

Finished up replacing my water pump, t-stat, radiator hoses, fan clutch and radiator cap. System still needs a decent flush, too cold now. I will wait for decent weather to perform that.

Added 98 2 door buckets into the MJ. The PO threw away the origional Eliminator Buckets

thanks, im not sure what /if the starter is fixed but i rewired the ign start wire late last night, time will tell but right now its good.
the way i wired it makes it easier to pull if i need to.
