"paint" is a loose term...it's actually more of a grease compound...resists oil better than actual paint...and doesn't run or streak, stays where you put it until you run the gears together. I looked on google and didn't find much about it...other than homemade alternatives...

Looked at it all free of rust and thought about giving it to my dad so it can live in the south while I live up in rustville NY.

I just painted my scrap metal fab project. Finally no more wobbly center console and I saved $40.

Quote: Check the butterfly in the tb I had a high idle and couldn't figure it out and turned out to be the 2 screws on the tb butterfly was loose and was causing the tb to stick
Checked them when I cleaned the tb.
Could the valve cover gasket cause it as well?

Quote: I believe you said you were having vibes you can't track down? If your pinion is riding the edge of the ring, that might just be it. Get some gear paint, crack it back open, and paint the ring teeth in one spot, rotate several times, take a pic, and report back.
well I have to drive it back to school once I get over this flu, and I guess I'll have to buy all new fluid again.. I'm so tired of this crap why doesn't it always happen to me. I need to drive it on a 3.5 hour trip in two weekends. Always crappy timing.

i guess not, i had it running on and off about 5 min at a time filling the coolant and it was fine other than a #7 misfire. and this morning it turned over for a few seconds then no key 12v to anything ive looked over all the fuses and none are blown so my guess is the ignition switch got fried somehow

Ugh, electrical gremlins.

If you've been working on her every day, best advice I can offer is to take a day off. If you want a second set of eyes on it, PM me, I'm in SA town too, be glad to see if I can help.
