Finally got around to replacing the front hubs. I'm pretty sure they needed replaced when I got the thing. I found time for it today though because the front left had about 20 pounds of mud caked around the rim, and another 10 or so caked on everything else. I tried many times to run it through puddles/rain storms/etc and all the other ones got cleaned well but that one just refused to get clean.

Got all the mud and crud out of there and it looked like I slit my poor XJ's throat right there in the driveway. Hub replacement went well.

While I was down there I noticed I bent my tie rod somehow. Not a big bend but I should have noticed it when I inspected the XJ before driving home after wheeling last weekend.

Finally ordered a set of Brown Dog motor mounts. Should get them installed sometime next year.

I used the factory shock bolting location on the axle to mount the bpe. If I didn't turn it, I wouldn't have been able to bolt it down cause of the location of the uprights. I'll try to get a closer pic up soon.

I blasted a ton into the rails so I was nervous about using heat. Came out today.... great success!!!
