I have way too much money and time into mine to let it go. I also told myself a while back, that I would not sell it ever, it will become a dedicated trail rig, tubed out and hacked up to pieces...my current suspension revamp is the 4th one that I know of, and I'll probably do it again...try something different each time...kinda wanna see how far I can take it.

I'm with you I also have a lot of time and money in mine but I'd sell it in a heart beat if someone offered me 12k I have about 6k in just mods on mine but I would put that 12k in my foxbody Mustang and build a trail xj with all the spare parts I've collected over the years

I started him up and let him run for about 30 minutes. Im a few weeks out from a complete suspension and steering overhaul. Gearing up for a Fordyce run this summer.

That's what I was thinking...
I had a guy come to my front door asking to buy my rig for 10K...Turned him down, LOL
I love my XJ. A lot of time as well as money into it. Saved it from a ******* juggalo, had ICP stickers all over it when I bought it. Got it from a mom and pop car lot in Denver, and told them one condition of sale was to remove all the stickers before I even test drove it, LMAO...that guy hacked the crap out of it, some of which still needs to be dealt with. The electrical was a nightmare.

...this is what my thinking is. 'Cause around here, I could get my hands on a really decent one for about 2500-3000 and then put the rest of that into building it up.
I vacuumed out the white sand and leaves I brought back from S.C. Noticed carpet was wet pulled it back and found a hole about the size of a soft ball that wasn't there before.
