It's OK little Jeep, I have your new, not leaking injectors, on the table. Just waiting for FedEx DumbPost to deliver a new, not super rusty, fuel rail. Who uses FedEx SmartPost anyways!? Seriously I'll pay the $.20 difference to at least get ground shipping!

I hate SmartPost with a passion Since I live in a rural area, and had issues with mailbox security, I have a PO box, which is not a valid address for FedEx. Since they need a address valid for FedEx, I give them my street address and wait for the white truck to roll up. Instead of a white truck, they had it off to the post office, who marks it undeliverable and sends it back. SmartPost.

Haven't done it yet, but I am going to head out and buy oil and a filter so I can do an oil change next week. If the rain holds off I might install my HD tie-downs in the cargo area. I went with a set of 4 Buyers B701SM surface mount rope rings. I will need to make backing plates for them, and I want to give them a rubberized coating before installing them to quite down any rattling they may have.
They have a load rating of 265 pounds and a break strength of 800 pounds. Should do for anything i need to secure in the back of the XJ

Well, did this yesterday, with the weather being nice and all, it was fun getting under the Jeep to check things out, see what new rust developed over the winter.
While looking at things, I decided to do something about the squeaking leaf spring shackles I had a 4 x 4 shop replace last September. New shocks, shackles and Dorman leaf springs. The shackles squeaked from day 1 after I got it back. I was hoping it would go away by now, but no.
So I just loosened and re-tightened the bolts on the shackles. It made a big difference. I don't hear them squeak anymore when I am in the drivers seat. I have to get real close to the shackle to hear them now.
Because the shackle bolts were on so tight, I figure the 4 x 4 shop that replaced them had the Jeep on the lift and tightened the hell out of the bolts while still on the lift. This probably didn't let the bushings settle into their normal riding position when on the ground, which caused the squeak.

I have (an) leaky injector(s) so the computer is trying to lean out the whole system to counteract. Apparently you can hook in a fuel pressure tester and watch the manifold side drop rather quickly. ~220,000k mi on what I assume are original injectors. Probably wouldn't hurt to do spark plugs and O2 sensors too...Who know when the POs last did them.
