I didn't do ALL this TODAY but these are some things I've done over the past couple weeks:
1) Converted the horrible, worthless Bendix ABS brake system to a regular power brake booster/master cylinder system. (I couldn't have done this without the help of people on this forum)
2) Installed a mean lookin' brush guard. (Just uploaded new pictures, please let me know what you think).
3) Installed the Hella driving lamps on the brush guard.
4) Drove it around town for all to see!
Keep it up guys, I love seeing other XJ's still on the road and giving them a good honk and wave. "It's a CHEROKEE thing."

sorry "stealthcherokee" if i were a little closer to Agawam, Ma id give you the bumper off my parts rig. hope you get it fixed up soon. as for what i did to mmy cherokee today... i took the dash apart to put in some extra "working" guages. then got distracted with looking up long arm parts
Started checking the electrical fan, which stop working couple days ago ,,,unplug it, and connected directly to battery, no respond ,,,,,so start dismantling the hole shebang , after having the piece in hand started giving a bath of wd-40 ,,, this time I connected to the plug and crank it up , I tap the motor with a wrench
and it work,,,(save some Money there),,
, also seen everything else was out, I clean and flush the radiator and add new coolant ,clean engine comparment and wash the Jeep ,,productive and rewarding day today

Went to the pull and save and got a alternator and sideview mirrors, and a new steering column its out of a 90 mines an 89 so hopfully it will work just gotta swap ignition tumblers. So that should be going in this week end. Best part is the column is black mine is that blueish color so it should look better.
found a tie rod that fits my track bar. bought a motor mount because I removed the air box (went strait from the snorkel to the throttle body) and found that the top of the motor mount is not there anymore. also found a jeep wrecking yard here in phoenix. part and part for miles!

Full coolant flush, cause mine looked like a dark brown sludge, haha. I also finished my cargo area storage and mounted up my amp, finally. Also made a couple hookups so I can mount a third set of speakers for tailgating.
