First trip down an empty road with 12 or so inches of virgin snow will change your tune

I think he was saying that the shackles pushed the tip 4" downwards, not a 4" diameter tip. Lol

Naw. The previous owner put in a Flowmaster super 10. This thing is crazy loud. I got used to it and kinda like it now. The funny thing is i never really realized how big the tip was on this thing until i posted a pic on this forum. I knew it was bigger than stock but the second I posted a pic people jumped at how obnoxious and goofy it looked.LOL. After reading em i thought about chopping it but decided to keep it.

I spent all day riding around in what ended up being a foot of snow and ice which is a rare thing for this part of the world. I was wondering how my maxxis bighorns would do in the white stuff. The answer was freaking awesome. I did every thing from from 10 miles of 6% downhill grade on open highway to uphill off road and they never stopped grabbing. I started out in 4wd just to be safe but after a few miles I switched to 2wd for most of the day. Only needed 4 HI when it started to get real deep at the end of the day. Most fun Ive had in a while.

Fixing to go out with a couple of friends in their wranglers for a trek over the mountain close to 4k feet on a logging road. I hear they have gotten closer to 2 feet at that elevation. So far more than pleased with the old Jeep.
