Took it out on the snowy roads to pick up the M8x1.25 nuts I am going to need to pull the steering wheel.
While out I was near a Tim Hortons, and since I am a true red blooded Canadian, I had to stop and get my double double
While I was standing in line some young girl in a stock maroon 98 XJ went through the drive thru. What I thought was interesting was that she stopped before getting to the line of cars got out and took a couple pictures of my purple 98 sitting in the parking lot
I don't feel my 98 is anything special. It is a little beat up, sitting on about 4" of budget lift, and peeling black painted canyons with tiny 235/75R15 tires. I figure either she was impressed, or it was to show the ugly beat up XJ to her friends

Some young girl with her own XJ. Hmmmm
Did you get her lic #? Is Iroquois that big a town?
Maroon, Purple, birds of a feather?
Could lead to a phone # and then a couple of XJ's gettin together for another double double...

I had to go to Morrisburg, and by young girl I mean late teens, early 20s. Since I am 51 I doubt there wouldn't be any numbers exchanged other than to teach her or her BF how to work on her XJ.Her XJ was really clean from what I could see, old eyes and distance don't work well together
. I couldn't see any rust or dents on it, and it still had rocker panels
For the record Iroquois is a small village of 1400 people located along the St Lawrence river. About 45 minutes south of Ottawa, and dead center between Cornwall and Brockville.

Seriously? Iroquois has 1400 people? That's about 10x larger than I thought!
I like how Prescott didn't make it onto the map lmao

What is funny about Iroquois is it doesn't grow like the sign said back in 1954 when they were moving the town.Originally Posted by salad

It was about 1400 people back then and it still is today over 50 years later. Could be that they are just too cheap to change the population number on the sign, but they have changed the sign a few times in my life. I think that 1400 people includes some of the outlaying area too, or everyone in the 652 area code.

Finally got the down pipe reconnected to the header. Went to turn it over, and she cranks but won't start - so tomorrow I get to start tracking down wether I simply didn't get the coil pack back on correctly, some connection is not tight, or if the CPS is shot.

There's a town "down" here in the U.P. called cat harbor. Their population count is 3.Originally Posted by SG Mason

I did a no no...Dropped her off at the dealer for them to go over it. Sadly I don't really trust anyone else and I needed them to reprogram some of the silly electronic features like the autolocks and exit lighting anyways. Also we'll see if they can figure out where my flesh wound is...(added another hose clamp and adjusted the hose to the aux tranny cooler but it's still leaking)
